The Mole Mitts are an item from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. They are gloves shaped like the hands of a mole, that allow Link to dig his way through loose walls or into the ground, in this respect functioning the same way as the shovel does in other games. Digging may uncover hearts, Rupees, and/or Kinstones. The Mole Mitts are found in the Fortress of Winds.

In the fight against Mazaal, once Link destroys one of the pillars, the inside of the head begins to crumble, requiring him to use the Mole Mitts to locate the correct pillar.

There are certain caves across Hyrule that require the Mole Mitts to enter. Inside Link can dig around to find Treasure Chests. Link can fuse with certain walls in these caves in order to complete the Goron Cave sidequest for an empty bottle. Common enemies in these caves include Like Likes among others.
