Moldorm (デグテール, Degu Tēru^?, Big Tail) is the boss of Tail Cave, the first dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Battle Edit

Link must use the Roc's Feather to jump to Moldorm's tail and strike it with the Sword. When it has been hit once, Moldorm will go into a frenzy; Link can avoid being pushed down a pit, which will result in the battle having to start over again, by jumping with the Roc's Feather. If timed right, Link can release a Spin Attack as he comes down, damaging the boss. After Moldorm's tail has been struck repeatedly, it will detonate, allowing Link to retrieve the Full Moon Cello, the first Instrument of the Sirens.
