Mascot is the co-protagonist of BS The Legend of Zelda and BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets. He replaces Link in this role; however, in many ROM versions of the game, his sprite is replaced with that of Link. His true name is unknown. All that is known is that he wears a Green Tunic, like Link, but has green hair and wears a baseball cap. The other selectable protagonist is the female Mascot.

BS The Legend of Zelda Edit
Mascot explores his way across Hyrule, eventually defeating Ganon and saving Princess Zelda. His adventure is very similar to Link's adventure in The Legend of Zelda.
BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets Edit
His story is more expanded upon in this adventure. It takes place shortly after The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Mascot has mysteriously appeared in Hyrule in a flash of light after Link left. Princess Zelda talks to him about his mysterious origins, and says he reminds her of Link, who has left Hyrule.
