- — Malo
Malo is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. He is a stout, adventurous, somewhat rude boy from Ordon Village, and is brother to Talo. His appearance is similar to that of a baby, but he acts more serious than his friends who look much older than him. He also seems to be a very skilled businessman as he not only runs the Kakariko Village shop with relative ease, but also orchestrates a hostile takeover of Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium in Hyrule Castle Town.
[edit] Biography
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Malo is Talo's younger brother, and even though he is much younger than his older brother, he is much more mature, and is often rolling his eyes at his behavior. After being rescued by Link, Malo eventually opens up a shop in Kakariko Village: Malo Mart. His items vary, and include the Hylian Shield and Hawkeye. After a rather large monetary donation from Link, he opens a Hyrule Castle Town branch of Malo Mart, where everything is half priced. This is where Link can purchase the Magic Armor. At the end of Link's adventure, all of the kidnapped children, including him, are taken back to Ordon Village, where he is happily reunited with his mother and father.

[edit] Etymology
It is possible that Malo is named after Malon. This is likely due to the fact that if an "n" is added to the end of Malo and Talo, it spells out Malon and Talon.
