The Maku Tree is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. He is the sacred guardian of Holodrum.

The Maku Tree is said to be Din's protector. Because of General Onox's abuse of the seasons, the Maku Tree's energy has been drained. Link must recover the Essences of Nature to return his strength. Once this is complete he gives Link a Maku Seed.
He is located in the Maku Tree Chamber in Horon Village. The location is blocked off by a barrier, and Link must destroy it with the Wooden Sword in order to proceed.
