The Magic Rod is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. This magic-imbued rod has the ability to conjure an endless number of fireballs, which can be shot at enemies and targets. Due to the speed and nature of the attack, the Magic Rod is useful for attacking targets at range. It is also incredibly powerful, in most cases twice as powerful as the Level 2 Sword. It can also be used to kill Cuccos and Dogs, one of the only items in the series able to do so. It can be found in the eighth dungeon, Turtle Rock.
