[edit] The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Very early in his life, Knuckle began carving the Tingle Tower and finished when he was ten years old. He works as a carver in the head of the Tingle Tower. Knuckle is also the creator of the Tingle Statues, small golden statues depicting a stance of Tingle.

When Link visits Outset Island with the Tingle Tuner and travels over to the patch of grass and three stones that are in front of Orca and Sturgeon's house, Knuckle greets him by demanding he finds the outdoor bath, and not to go indoors. Tingle encourages Link to do as his brother said. Knuckle subsequently gives him commands like climbing down the ladder that no one uses, and climbing up the biggest rock on top of the tall hill. To test Link's courage, he asks him to jump off the ledge where the suspension bridge once was. Impressed, he gives Link the Hand-Me-Down Tingle Tuner and appears on Tingle Island.

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

Knuckle appears in Trilby Highlands, and is part of the Kinstone trading quest. It is revealed that he holds a grudge against David Jr., a "Tingle Brother" who is not biologically related to himself, Tingle and Ankle.
