"That's Kamaro's Mask, isn't it? That is a fine mask. It is filled with the joy a teacher has in finding a good student."
Happy Mask Salesman

Kamaro's Mask (カマロのお面, Kamaro no Omen?) is one of the twenty-four masks that Link can collect in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. This mask, shaped in the image of Kamaro, allows the wearer to perform a mysterious dance with the B button.

Obtaining the Mask

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Every night after 12:00 a.m. on a rock shaped like a mushroom, the ghost of Kamaro can be encountered in the Snowhead region of Termina Field. In life, Kamaro was once a talented dancer; but after his passing, his lingering regrets of not having passed his dance on to others has left him bound to Termina, making him unable to pass on. When Link plays the "Song of Healing", Kamaro's soul is healed and he passes on, giving his mask to Link on the condition that Link spreads his dance to the world.

With the mask, Link can teach Kamaro's dance to the Rosa Sisters in West Clock Town on the night of either the First or Second Day. As a reward for teaching them the dance, the Rosa Sisters give Link a Piece of Heart and acknowledge him as their "master". Subsequently, when Link is wearing the Kamaro's Mask, the Rosa Sisters will refer to him as this; but when Link is not wearing the Kamaro's Mask, they tell Link to stop pestering them.

Interestingly, wearing Kamaro's Mask while near the Stylin' Scarecrow will cause him to dance more rapidly.

Though it is impossible while wearing the Mask to attack with Link's sword using the B button, it is still possible to preform Link's Jump Attack even when the Mask is worn as well as attacking with items such as Link's bow or bombs.

In Majora's Mask 3D, its dancing can be used to attract Dancing Sea Bream at the Ocean Fishing Hole. However like the sword, Link must remove the Kamaro's Mask in order to use the Fishing Rod.

Theory warning: This section contains theoretical information based on the research of one or several other users. It has not been officially verified by Nintendo and its factual accuracy is disputed.

If one looks closely at Kamaro's Mask, there is noticeable stitching around Kamaro's neck area that attaches it to the main mask, which gives one the impression it may actually be Kamaro's head stitched onto the mask itself. This gives the mask's odd design a more disturbing possible origin.
