- "That's Kafei's Mask, isn't it? The worry of a concerned mother is expressed quite well in that mask."

Kafei's Mask (カーフェイのお面, Kafei no Omen?) is one of the twenty-four masks that Link can collect in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Made to heavily resemble the youth Kafei, it may be used to to ask the residents of Termina the whereabouts of the mask's recently disappeared namesake when worn. It is one of the few obtainable masks implied not to be a unique item, as Anju has her very own Kafei's Mask that she will display under certain circumstances.
Obtaining the Mask
Kafei's Mask is given to Link by Madame Aroma in Clock Town, whom she mistakenly thinks is an expert detective that she hired to find her missing son, Kafei. When worn, it allows Link to inquire about the whereabouts of Kafei by speaking to citizens of Clock Town. If the mask is worn when speaking with Anju on the First Day after she receives Kafei's letter from the Postman, she will ask Link to meet her in the Stock Pot Inn's kitchen later that night. Asking prior to her receiving the letter will result in the response "So you too are looking for Kafei..."
After a series of events, Link can personally deliver the Letter to Mama received from the Man from the Curiosity Shop to Madame Aroma, who is found in the Milk Bar on the night of the Final Day; as a reward for having brought her some manner of closure, Link will receive a bottle of Chateau Romani. She will seemingly not recognize Link as the "expert person-finder" she hired without his Kafei's Mask on, and the letter cannot be given to her otherwise.
In the Majora's Mask DLC Pack, it is an unlockable mask costume for Sheik.
