The Jump Thrust is a skill from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. This sword technique is taught to Link by a Hylian Knight in the Mountain Town of Darunia. Link performs the Jump Thrust by thrusting his blade straight upwards during a jump, whilst stabbing an enemy above him, or breaking blocks situated above his head if he has the Handy Glove.

Non-canonical appearances Edit

The Jump Thrust does not appear in later installments of the Legend of Zelda series. It does, however, appear in many non-canonical games, namely Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Soulcalibur II. It is primarily used to strike opponents who are falling from the air.
