Jovani

Jovani was a character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

He desired immense wealth, and traded his soul to Poes in exchange for an innumerous amount of riches. He, along with his cat, were then fused into gold, in a room now filled with enormous piles of sparkling, golden coins. He then regretted his decision, and wished to be in his original form once again (primarily to visit his girlfriend).

When Link sneaked through Hyrule Town as a wolf, he met Jovani, who hadn't been in contact with anyone for ages. Jovani begged Link to collect at least 20 pieces of his shattered soul, which were divided among the Poes, for an ample reward. If Link were to do so, Jovani, though still gold, became mobile, and true to his promise gave Link a reward: a bottle of Great Fairy Tears.

Still wishing to visit his girlfriend (though not with a golden appearance) he once again requested of Link to find the remaining souls and return them to him for an even greater reward. And so, if Link took upon the quest to retrieve the pieces and return them to Jovani, he finally returned to his natural state and granted Link an unlimited amount of silver rupees (200). Unfortunately for Jovani, his absence left his girlfriend no other choice but to forget about him and develop a relationship with another man.
