The Isle of Ember, or Ember Island, is a medium sized island in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, located in the southwest Great Sea. After getting the first sea chart, Oshus tells Link to rub off a section of a paper. This reveals the mark of Leaf. Most of the island is simply a volcano spewing out lava rocks near the summit. The isle only has three houses on it and with the death of her assistant Kayo; Astrid became the sole inhabitant of the island. The island is notable for housing the Temple of Fire.
