Iron Masks, sometimes referred to as Hiploops, are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. They are small, insect-like creatures with large iron masks shielding their heads. Their unprotected backsides are their weak points. They can be defeated if Link maneuvers around them and strikes them from behind, or by removing their masks.

Iron Masks can be defeated easily by using the Hookshot to remove their masks, rendering them vulnerable against various weapons.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Edit
Iron Masks can be defeated easily with the sword after using either the Switch Hook or Long Hook to remove their masks.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons Edit
Iron Masks can be defeated with the sword or other weapons by removing the masks with the Magnetic Gloves.
