"Ohh... You are...so handsome... Just like the King of Hyrule... Hee hee... Ohh... You are... more beautiful... than Princess Zelda... Ohh..."
— Honey & Darling

Honey and Darling are a pair of recurring characters in the Legend of Zelda series. They are easily identifiable for the fact they are always hugging each other and twirling about in circles with hearts coming from them. They refer to each other as "honey" and "darling", which are likely terms of affection rather then their actual names.

Appearances

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Honey and Darling can be found in Hyrule Castle Town when Link is a child, where they are complimenting each other during the day and telling Link to go away at night. When Link is an adult, he finds that they have fled to Kakariko Village where they are found dancing on the hill behind the Windmill; they treat Link more callously than before. Honey and Darling seem to be so caught up in the admiration of each other that they radiate a rude, dismissing attitude towards others.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

"H-H-Honey!!! He...He got a perfect score three days in a row. This is all we have left to give him, Honey. I wonder... Are we truly happy? ...Darling?"
— Honey & Darling

Together, Honey and Darling run Honey & Darling's Shop in East Clock Town. They host three mini-games; one for each day in the three-day cycle. These include Target Practice, Bombchu Bowling and Bomb Basket. Link must complete a given mini-game before they finish dancing — a timer will appear on the screen for the player's convenience. If Link completes all three games, he is given a Piece of Heart and is then thrown out of the store.
