Hokboks are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. They are found in Turtle Rock. They resemble fuzzy, upright caterpillars, consisting of three spherical orange segments that make up their bodies, and a fourth orange ball with a Jack-O-Lantern-like face creating a head. Their attack method is to bounce into Link. When hit with a sword, the bottommost segment is knocked loose from the body, and it ricochets around the room. The fewer segments they have left, the faster they move. They are very tall creatures, and are usually found in small or narrow rooms where, if attacked, the repercussion will be harder to avoid.
