The Guitar of Waves is an instrument from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It serves as the instrument for Zora Link. The only difference the guitar has from the other instruments of the game is that it is used to awaken the Giant Turtle of Zora Cape, leave an imprint of Mikau with the "Elegy of Emptiness", and to change the color of Termina Field's Gossip Stones. Additionally, the Guitar of Waves is used in the side-quest to help Toto with the The Indigo-Gos' performance at the Milk Bar in Clock Town.

[edit] Design

The Guitar of Waves is what appears to be a skeleton of a large fish equipped with guitar strings, giving it the sound of a guitar.

[edit] Story

The guitar was previously owned by Mikau, who used it to play lead guitar in the band The Indigo-Gos. After Link obtained the Zora Mask from Mikau by healing his soul, he gained Mikau's guitar in addition to the mask. Oddly, the guitar was also used to mark Mikau's grave, but Link also carries it with him.

The Jackson Guitar company made ten guitars based on this in game guitar.
