Grottos are recurring locations in the Legend of Zelda series. They are small holes that lead to underground caves and rooms. Appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and The Wind Waker they contain Fairy Fountains and small areas that usually have Treasure Chests containing various colors of Rupees. Sometimes enemies can be found and fought in Grottos. This reveals various items such as Rupees and Pieces of Heart. In Ocarina of Time and Majora´s Mask, sometimes weirder things can be found, such as Gossip Stones and, in a grotto beneath Death Mountain Trail, a Cow (you can hear it as you approach it, bombing the rock that covers it will reveal it).
