The Grip Ring is an item from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. This small ring allows Link to scale certain walls, and is found on Mt. Crenel; specificially, inside a cave about halfway up the mountain. Inside this cave is a Business Scrub who offers to sell Link the Grip Ring for the price of 40 Rupees after Link deflects the nut its spits back at it with his shield. This item is used automatically whenever Link approaches a climbable wall, and cannot be equipped to a button. This item's name suggests that instead of giving Link the strength to climb walls it is used to adhere to the face of certain rocks that make climbing possible.
