The Grip Ring is an item from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. This small ring allows Link to scale certain walls and is found inside a cave on Mount Crenel, inside of which is a Business Scrub. After Link deflects the nuts it spits back at it, the Business Scrub offers to sell him the Grip Ring for the price of 40 Rupees. This item is used automatically whenever Link approaches a climbable wall and cannot be equipped to a button. This item's name suggests that, instead of giving Link the strength to climb walls, it is used to adhere to the face of certain rocks that make climbing possible. The Grip Ring, unlike most other items sold by Business Scrubs, is needed to complete the game.
