The Great Fairy of Courage is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series. She is a Great Fairy who grants heroes the power of Enhanced Defense. She lives in different Great Fairy Fountains throughout the various games in which she appears.

The Great Fairy of Courage lives in a Great Fairy Fountain located in the wasteland surrounding Ganon's Castle. After Link obtains the Golden Gauntlets, he can gain access to her fountain. Here, she enhances the hero's defense. Whenever Link visits her fountain, she will fully replenish his hearts and Magic Meter.

The Great Fairy of Courage resides in a Great Fairy Fountain located in the southern part of the Great Bay Coast. After Link collects all of the 15 blue Stray Fairies from within Great Bay Temple, he can bring them back to her to restore her original form, and she will reward him by upgrading his defense. She will fully restore Link's Magic Meter and hearts when he visits her fountain, regardless of whether she is whole or shattered.
