Great Bay Coast is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Located in the Great Bay region, this massive, tropical coast is the first location that is visited in Great Bay. It lies just north Zora Hall Coast. This area features locations such as the Marine Research Lab, Oceanside Spider House, Fisherman's Hut, Fisherman's Island and the entrances to the Pirates' Fortress and Pinnacle Rock. The enemies found here include Leevers and Like Likes. When Link enters the water for the first time, he finds the famous Zora Mikau, injured and floating in the water. Once ashore, Link plays the "Song of Healing", to heal Mikau's soul and obtain the Zora Mask. After this, Mikau's grave is found on the shore for the remainder of game, even if Link travels back in time using the "Song of Time".

Points of interest

Fisherman's Hut

Main article: Fisherman's Hut

Located directly on the shore, this hut is home to the Fisherman. The Seahorse is also located here before Link rescues it. Link accomplished this by using his Pictograph Box to get a picture of one of the Gerudo Pirates (something the Fisherman wanted).

Fisherman's Island

Main article: Fisherman's Island

Located off the shore, this collection of islands serves as the hub for the Fisherman's Jumping Game, the prize of which is a Piece of Heart.

Marine Research Lab

Main article: Marine Research Lab

The Marine Research Lab is located directly in front of the Coast. It is home to the Lake Scientist. This is where the Zora Eggs hatch after Link rescues them. He learns the "New Wave Bossa Nova" by doing this. A Piece of Heart can also be obtained here by feeding several fish to one of the fish found inside of the Lab in a fish tank.

Oceanside Spider House

Located right next to the Fisherman's Hut, the Oceanside Spider House is the home of many Gold Skulltulas. Several Stalchildren can be found here and Link can interact with them by use of the Captain's Hat. If Link completes the Spider House before the Second Day, he will receive the Giant's Wallet.

Pinnacle Rock

Main article: Pinnacle Rock

The entrance to Pinnacle Rock is between two stone columns to the west of Great Bay Coast. The way there is clouded by murky water, and a Gold Colored Fish is needed to guide Link through. At Pinnacle Rock itself, three of Lulu's eggs are lost in underwater caverns, which are inhabited by Deep Pythons.

Pirates' Cove

Main article: Pirates' Cove

A small sheltered bay in the shoreline of the Great Bay, Pirates' Cove acts as the sole barrier separating Great Bay Coast from the Pirates' Fortress.
