The Goron Shrine is a location in Majora's Mask.[1]

Features and Overview[]

MM3D Goron Shrine Notebook Portrait

The entrance to the Goron Shrine is shut during winter, therefore, Link must talk to the gatekeeper outside in order for the door to open.[2] It is the home of many Gorons during the winter season. If Goron Link speaks to the Gorons within the Shrine, they will express their disbelief that he is Darmani III.[3][4]

The sharp cries of the Goron Elder's Son cause the rest of the Gorons to become uneasy, trying to cover their ears.[5][6] Once Goron Link plays the "Goron Lullaby" to the child, he will fall asleep, lighting the Torches in his room and relieving the rest of the Gorons of his cries.

Torches can be found all around the Goron Shrine and, once they are all lit up, the chandelier above will light up and start spinning. By breaking one of the Goron heads on the chandelier with Goron Link's roll, he can find a Rock Sirloin for the hungry Goron in Mountain Village. The Goron Shop can also be found inside, selling items which value varies depending on the season.

Trivia[]

  • In Majora's Mask 3D, a Wii Remote can be found next to some toys in the Goron Elder's Son room.

And it just keeps getting colder outside... Even in here it is so cold that we could freeze." — Goron (Majora's Mask)
