Gondo is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. He is the owner of his family's Scrap Shop in Skyloft's Bazaar. For a fee, Gondo will use treasures that Link has obtained in order to upgrade his items. He also offers to fully repair Link's shields for ten Rupees each, regardless of the damage they have sustained. Gondo also possesses the inactive remains of his grandfather's robot LD-301S Scrapper. Gondo spends a great deal of time attempting to repair Scrapper; eventually, Link gives him an Ancient Flower, thereby allowing him to successfully repair Scrapper. If Link talks to him at night, Scrapper reveals to Link that Gondo is building a washing machine for his mother.

Etymology Edit

As many residents of Skyloft seem to be named after birds, it is possible that Gondo is named after the condor.
