Golden Leaves are quest items in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. These valuable leaves of solid gold were once owned by Richard before his soldiers turned rogue and threw him out of Kanalet Castle. All five leaves must be retrieved by Link in order to obtain the Slime Key from Richard. They can be obtained an any order.

- One leaf is guarded by the guard who pops out of many holes on the east side of Kanalet Castle.
- One leaf is guarded by the Crow sitting in a tree on the west side of Kanalet Castle. A rock must be thrown at the tree to make it move, and it must be defeated quickly before it flies away.
- One leaf is guarded by the sword and shield-wielding guard in the second room of Kanalet Castle's first floor.
- One leaf is guarded by the guard wielding a ball and chain mace on the second floor.
- One leaf is found behind the left stone carving of a guard on the second floor. When the carving is blown up with a bomb,the guard carrying the leaf will be visible, and can be defeated for one of the leaves.
