Golden Enemies

Golden Enemies appear in both The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. They are stronger and faster versions of normal enemies, have more health, and they have a golden tint.

In Oracle of Seasons, golden enemies appear for the first time. Here, the four golden enemies must be defeated for Link to obtain the Red Ring. Each enemy appears in a set location, but appears only during a specific season:

• The Golden Lynel roams Tarm Ruins during the winter.

• The Golden Darknut is found on the Western Coast in the spring.

• The Golden Octorok haunts Spool Swamp in the summer.

• The Golden Moblin lives in the Woods of Winter during the autumn.

In The Minish Cap, golden enemies appear after fusing Kinstones with certain people. They are stronger versions of standard monsters (Tektites, Octoroks, and Ropes). They are very fast and powerful creatures, and deal a great amount of damage to Link. If they are defeated, Link receives a larger reward than normal, usually a large sum of Rupees.
