"You've learned The Frog's Song of Soul! It's a very moving tune... It can even liven up unliving things!"
— In-game description

The "Frog's Song of Soul" is a song from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. In order for Link to learn this song, he must complete the Signpost Maze and locate the home of the frog singer, Mamu. For the price of 300 Rupees, Mamu will allow Link to listen to a "previously unreleased cut." Once Mamu and his frog back-up singers have finished singing the song, Link learns it on his Ocarina. Mamu remarks that the ones who hear the song feel more alive; the song has the power to resurrect the dead or the asleep.

Link must play this song for the remains of the Flying Rooster in order to bring it back to life and use its powers to enter Eagle's Tower. It must also be played to awaken the Head of the Turtle, a sleeping stone monster that blocks the entrance to Turtle Rock.
