Forums: Index Watercooler Cooking in Breath of the Wild

Hi everyone. The cooking mechanic seems central in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there are a lot of cookable items and cooked items, can we add dedicated categories? What name(s) would be most suitable for you? WiseAdventurer (talk) 19:20, June 14, 2016 (UTC)

"Central" is a pretty strong word... it's a mechanic for sure, but it's hard to tell exactly how much it affects the rest of the gameplay. Also, as a side note, our category system here on Zeldapedia is very different than the system we have in place on the Xenoblade Wiki. We tend not to get as specific and lengthy in our category names, so one general "Cooking" category will probably suffice for now. —Ceiling Master 19:57, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
OK, CM, thank you for the detailed answer. Do I have to wait for more opinions before adding a cooking category?WiseAdventurer (talk) 20:14, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Ha, there's not many other opinions to be had these days... I would wait until the next segment of Treehouse Live — they said that it would be dedicated to cooking. —Ceiling Master 20:15, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, "central" is probably too strong, I had Tales Of series in mind each time I was Link cooking in the trailer or the treehouse video! Indeed, I see more and more that this wiki has a quite different system but interesting too. WiseAdventurer (talk) 20:18, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Some users seem to work in solo! So the discussion seems over now! WiseAdventurer (talk) 20:50, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, it's... different here. Cooking Ingredients is probably the best option, anyway. —Ceiling Master 20:51, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, I see. Yes, it seems a good name to categorise these items.WiseAdventurer (talk) 20:57, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
