I saw this on another forum once. Chances are, you've asked yourself "How/Why does that happen?" or a question in that nature. For example, why do Link's iron boots only affect him when they're out of his bag? Well, you probably know why, but that was an example. So here we can think up answers for those questions, right or not.
AuronKaizer - "Men came. Filled in the burrows. Couldn't get out. There was a strange sound. Hissing. The air turned bad. Runs blocked with dead bodies. I couldn't get out. Everything turned mad. Warren, herbs, roots, grass, all pushed into the earth." TALK - THE LIST - GAMES - PIT OF RECKONING - SANDBOX - WALRUS GUMBOOT
Seven old men and not seven sages sealing Ganon. Link having red hair. Sacred grove located in north-eastern Hyrule. I don't got time to list it all. Although I'm pretty sure there's some crazy theory found around here about time-travelling phone booths or something.

I always thought that pink hair was just a headband. And if you look closely, the map of Hyrule upside-down has many features in the same place as OoT. And, this is what the intro says:
"Long ago, in the beautiful kingdom of Hyrule surrounded by mountains and forests... legends told of an omnipotent and omniscient Golden Power that resided in the hidden land. Many people aggressively fought to enter the hidden Golden Land... But no one ever returned. One day evil power began to flow from the Golden Land... So the King commanded seven sages to seal the gate to the Land of the Golden Power. That seal should have remained for all time... ... ...But, these events were obscured by the mists of time and became legend. A mysterious wizard known as Agahnim came to Hyrule to release the seal. He eliminated the good King of Hyrule... Through evil magic, he began to make descendants of the seven sages vanish, one after another. And the time of destiny for Princess Zelda is drawing near.
Help me..."
The intro for my game, it refers to seven sages. It also talks about the seal. Agahnim wanted to break that seal and he needed the seven maidens to kick seven buckets to do that. So, instead of doing that, he turned them into crystals in dungeons easily breached. Bad move for Ag, but at least in my game it refers to seven sages. My game is the remake for GBA, so maybe Nintendo changed it in that version, because after OoT, the seven sages (mostly women) became known. So that's my theory.
AuronKaizer - "Yeah, well one of my chupacabras told me that the last time Seagal came to the land of OZ he b***hslapped so many hobbits that Optimus Prime had to step in and use the force to nulify Seagals berserker rage. Then the Mogwai Gizmo and Marty McFly showed up in Bill and Ted's phone-booth and took Seagal into the future year of 2012 so he could defeat the Mayan calendar and save all of humanity from Ming the Merciless. Seagal then blasted off into space in a '64 Chevy Malibu with Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars on a quest to save the universe from the destructive forces of Space Jesus and his 12 Muppets. Moral: If you're going to lie on the internet at least put some effort into it..." TALK - THE LIST - GAMES - PIT OF RECKONING - SANDBOX - WALRUS GUMBOOT
Well, I was referring to the original SNES version, so maybe they changed it or something. Anyhoo, on to the next question anyone?

When he grows up, Link wants to be a speaker of the house. He's great at speeches.
How do you think the fairy comes out of the bottle ONLY when link... heads west? In WW it looked sad and pretty inclined to escape, so why did it wait? If it does so to save Link so he can save Hyrule/Termina/The Great Sea/Holodrum/Labrynna, it would die anyway, so does it have an empathic sense of "sacrificial duty?"

Maybe his clothes are stuffed with warm furs, or he just stands it. After all, he can defeat a hoard of enemies, a stunning accomplishment, and still act bored. Actually, in WW and MM, Link shivers a bit when in Ice Ring Isle and Snowhead respectively. Twilight Princess spoilers ahead. Highlight the gap if you've beaten it. Why does Link not turn into a wolf automatically when in the actual twilight realm from the twilight mirror, and instead have to be in a thick shadow fog to transform? That's a question I've asked myself a few times. And for the Ganondorf thing, he might need to know if Link is a "real threat" before he just kills him. If you were plotting to rule the world, an you knew there was one person able to stop you, you'd want to make sure who it was. Even so, procrastination of the protagonist's death runs in the villain family. Agahnim didn't kill the 7 maidens. He turned them into crystals and even kept them in Hyrule instead of with him at all times. Zant could have, instead of thrusting it into Stallord's head, just stabbed Link with it. Vaati in FS, instead of rushing off to plot to defeat Link and Zelda, could have defeated Link and Zelda, with Link swordless at the time and Zelda a sitting cuccoo.
Great idea for a discussion! I've always wondered how they rationalize Link never being overburdened with all of the things he has to carry -- having the Master Sword myself, I know just how heavy it is, and then add to that his shield and bombs and flute and raft and ladder and so on and so forth ad infinitum. The only time I've ever seen this addressed was in the animated series, when he could shrink things down to miniature size and carry them in his belt pouch; that's a fairly plausible explanation, but why can't they make it canon?
I also have a question about the Zeldapedia. WHAT is with all of the little clubs popping up in all the user pages these last couple of weeks? Now I see Ascended Wolf has created yet another one. Is there a point to any of this? Especially since it looks like the majority of them are aiming to do basically the same stuff as the ZRP, which was here first...

Well, I've always thought Link's stuff is transferred to a portable pocket dimension until he needs them. By the way, why did they make the Statue puzzle in Twilight Princess so annoying it devalues the overall enjoyment of the game?

Zant, you get away from that crack.
Well, lots of them [clubs] are exactly like ZRP. I made The Bombers Secret Society of Justice. It's different in that it targets single articles in need of attention and cleans them up, then goes on to the next. Anyway, I've seen the animated series. It wasn't canon, and it kind of took the Zelda feel and gave it a King Arthur theme. But I loved the magic bag idea. It also showed Link's motivation, a kiss from Zelda. And about the statues, that makes the game hard. I felt that the dungeons were a tad easier than in other games, so that evened it out.

Kaepora Gaebora. The zora tunic is made of zora scales as stated in OoT, and the maybe the goron tunic is so airy it's like your wearing nothing at all! lol
I thought the Goron Tunic was made to repel heat. And if Link was a stripper, he'd still die from heat in Death Mountain Crater/Fire Temple!

I think that in Twilight Princess, Midna turns Link's stuff into Twilight and stores it that way (She is seen doing this with the Ordon Sword and Ordon Shield after she decides not to use them, when Link is a wolf and just stole them from the Ordonians). I'm not sure about the other games, though.

You're in a volcano in Twilight Princess too. You just don't enter the crater (And in case you try to argue on that point, the Fire Temple is not in the crater, the entrance is just in the crater).
ALttP Retcons: "Wise Men" was a mistranslation. In the artwork, Link had blond hair.

One word: Hammerspace. I actually don't know about the second one, since you can wield a hookshot and use babeh Epona too. Perhaps Link remembered how to use a bow from OoT in MM. Iono. And because the Minish put them there along with Rupees and things XD

Well, that's because they choose to be invisible all the time. Remember when they turn invisible in OoT? Well, that's the case with TP poes, except forever. And, to make it more difficult to get poe souls.
ok. I got a question. Why does the hero of time need to be 19 to use the master sword, but the hero of winds can when he is only 12? AND why do boys come of age 'at the age of the hero who saves out land' (12) if ww is on the adult timeline? [user:awsomemomo]
This is just my theory, but I think boys "come of age" at 12 or whatever it was because since Zelda stated she wanted to return Link to his childhood and felt guilty for involving him in challenging Ganondorf, she wanted him remembered as a child. Plus, that's when his journey started--the split didn't occur until Link got the Master Sword. Also, perhaps the "lock" that forced Link to be a certain age to be the hero was a one-time use thing, so after that, anyone who was worthy of being the hero could get the sword in theory, no matter what their age was.
If the triforce is omnipotent... then why does it only grant ONE wish? And where does it go after being used? --Hydropanda (talk) 00:13, April 22, 2011 (UTC) PS: Sorry I don't have a template... I feel so left out
It grants a single wish because the Goddesses made it that way I guess. Why the Goddesses made it that way who knows, they made an all powerful object that could easily be used for evil, so I question their capacity for reason in the first place. We generally don't get any indication where the Triforce goes after being used. In OoT they say that if someone who is not balanced between the virtues of power, wisdom, and courage touches it, they retain only one piece, and the other two go to destined "default" holders, as happened when Ganondorf touched it, made his wish, and then only retained The Triforce of Power. Presumably that means a balanced person will retain the whole Triforce, and could therefore make more wishes I would think. Supposedly an imbalanced person touching it would always go down just like it did in OoT. An exception to all this is after Daphnes touches it in WW, when it appears to just leave, though that may be a part of Daphnes's wish.--FierceDeku 19:17, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
Why would the Hero of Time reborn (the Hero of Winds) be in the "Adult" timeline if the Hero of Time only could have died in the "Child" timeline?--2.97.30.186 14:53, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
I don't think it's supposed to mean that the two are in any way the same person. It's referencing the fact that WW Link is another Link. In Zelda all kinds of people have similar "reincarnations" of themsleves pop up everywhere, even though they are totally different beings that share no memories and don't have the same "spirit" or anything, and may not even be blood relatives of other incarnations of themselves. Theoretically any Link born after OoT could be considered the Hero of Time reborn, any Link after WW could be considered the Hero of Winds reborn, etc..--FierceDeku 22:09, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
