Citation Needed

Is a citation really needed to say that Hyrule/Lorule is a pun on high and low? Drake Clawfang (talk) 00:05, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

Perhaps not. The statement was just made so boldly I figured that there was a developer quote stating as such or something. Does the Japanese name have a similar meaning? Champion of Nayru (talk) 05:10, 21 November 2013 (UTC) Champion of Nayru
The Japanese name for Lorule is the same, ロウラル/Rouraru/Lorule, the word thats part of it, ロウ/Rou, is also a Japanese Word for *Low*. Just like ハイ/Hai from ハイラル/Hyrule means *High*, Source: http://ga-m.com/image/news/2013/11/14/zelda-triforce-2-yuga-9.gif and http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/bzlj/world/images/slide02_img02.png. --Vaati The Wind Demon (talk) 14:31, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

Theories section needs to be added pretty quickly

There is heated discussion occuring on fansites that Lorule may in fact be the Termina of this particular timeline, or could even be the Hyrule of that Majora's Mask timeline.

This needs to be written up soon I believe, as these theories a getting popular. Colliric (talk) 08:40, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

See, the issue with that is there is literally no evidence that suggests that, in fact, there evidence opposing it. Termina is not a mirror universe, intact its geography is completely differnet, while Lorule is very similar. Termina is very technologically advance comparatively, Lorule isn't. Both are alternate worlds; we don't need to speculate that some of these worlds might be the same. Twilight Realm is Dark World discussions and the like are very tiring. Champion of Nayru (talk) 09:29, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
I agree(but not about the "No evidence" thing, obviously it wouldn't be a popular theory without having somesort of Evidence, so there's definitely something to it) Nonetheless it's a theory that isn't going away now that people have played the game... It's only getting discussed more! So it may need to be addressed in the future, given that this Wikia includes the popular fan theories on alot of pages(heck even theories on "Distorted N64 textures"!). I agree, Maybe not include it for now, but note that it is a very popular theory about this game/world. If another person decides to add it here, I would support it staying. The full "theory" includes the fact that in this timeline, Link died fighting Ganon, therefore was not alive to stop the Moon smashing into this Termina. So the point about Termina having "better technology" and somewhat different Geography is probably irrelevant to the theory itself, given that the Moon hitting it would have changed such things.Colliric (talk) 10:00, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
