Nakura is a nostalgic ghost who starts to haunt Link after the completion of the Angler's Tunnel in Link's Awakening.
Biography
Link and Nakura in Link's Awakening
Nakura wants Link to take him to his house. As he cannot enter any dungeons while the ghost follows him, Link must help him in order to enter the Catfish's Maw. Once Link brings him to a dilapidated house near Toronbo Shores, the ghost examines it before saying it is essentially unchanged from what it was when he was alive.
The ghost then asks Link to bring him to his grave, which is the one located in Koholint Prairie. Once there, the ghost thanks Link and tells him to search underneath one of the pots in his house to find a reward; which is actually a Secret Seashell.
Other appearances
The ghost's name, Nakura, is given in the Link's Awakening manga, where he is a former soldier. In the manga, Nakura saves Link's life by possessing him during his fight against Karuna and gives him a more powerful sword after Link takes him to his house.
Trivia
Link can sprinkle Magic Powder on the gost's grave, which anger him and makes him asks Link to cease this or he will suffer the effects of a curse. Despite this, the ghost will not put a curse of any kind on Link.
