Goals
- To add sources and references to as many articles that are tagged with the {{Sources}} template as possible.
- To include at least a small amount of sources and references for all new articles and pages.
- To ensure that all sources and references are reliable and of high quality.
General Referencing Tips
References Revisit the source(s) of the article and find more things to write with the goal of expanding the article in mind.
- Take notes and use specific quotes for references from the game, instruction manual, official guides, official site, or even developer quotes.
- See Help:Citing Sources for help with including references or even ask any of the in-house Citationists.
- Use the {{fact}} template to mark statements needing a factual source (i.e. "The Wind Waker was commercially successful, selling around 3.07 million copies worldwide..."). If it is an opinionated statement (i.e. "Many fans disliked The Wind Waker due to its cel-shaded art style..."), mark it with the {{whom}} template in order to cite which group(s) or individual(s) hold that opinion.
- Use {{Ref}} for long lists of references to utilize a scroll bar Reference Section.
- Bear in mind that many references can be pasted into downstream topics. Few references only refer to a single article topic. The following is an example of a reference used on multiple pages:
- "Your goal is to destroy the dark magic barrier at the end of each stage. The only way to destroy the barrier is with the magic Force Gem power of the legendary Four Sword." (Four Swords Adventures manual, pg. 18)
- The reference can be placed on at least three pages; Force Gem, Four Sword, and Dark Barrier. Possibly even more pages such as a stage article, the game article, etc. Be creative!
- Avoid placing the reference section above Galleries. Few Zelda Wiki viewers would want to see the wall of reference text over an image gallery, and it is consistent with how encyclopedias are generally formatted.
- Any pages that are stubs, and need to be enlarged before sourcing should be tagged with the {{stub}} template, and directed over to the ZELDA team.
Badge
SaRIA has a "badge" that is available to the confirmed SaRIA members. It comes in the form of an icon that is displayed at the top of your userpage, and it can be seen here. To add the badge, type {{SARIA|offset}}, with offset being a number that moves the icon farther to the left. The template will not work if you are not a confirmed member of SaRIA.

Current Projects
If you would like to nominate a project that needs to be worked on by the SaRIA team, you can do so here. It should be kept to around 10 or so pages at once, but there's a little room to maneuver around that.
- The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Courage - A page as ambiguous as this really needs to have a handful of sources.
- Zelda III - This page has the same problem as Mystical Seed of Courage.
- Permanently Missable Items - This page really needs some sources.
- The Legend of Zelda (Game) - This is bad. No references makes for one poor page, and this page cannot afford to be poor.
- North Castle - Should be easy for anyone with the time to copy references from related pages.
- Dark Link - Bad deal having only five refs for a Featured Article.
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - Any mainstream game with no references at all is a problem.
