- — In-game description
The Fairy Bow is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This bow fires arrows at various targets, including enemies and Crystal Switches. The arrows are stored in an upgradeable quiver. It is the item that Link finds after defeating three Stalfos in the Forest Temple. Link is only capable of using the bow when he is an adult.
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
There are three different magical elements that the arrows can be charged with; Fire, Ice and Light. The Ice Arrows are optional, and can be found at the Gerudo's Training Ground. The Fire Arrows are found at Lake Hylia. The Light Arrows are given to Link by Princess Zelda near the end of the game, and must be used to defeat Ganondorf.
Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here.
Arrows can also be lit on fire when they are shot through the flame of a torch. This will allow them to set a target ablaze without Fire Arrows or Din's Fire.

Link's neutral special in this game is referred to as the Bow but bears resemblance to the Fairy Bow. Young Link's neutral special is a smaller version of the Fairy Bow equipped with Fire Arrows called the Fire Bow.
