- "Isn't songwriting the job of the bandleader? What, you're not happy with my songs?"
- — Evan
Evan is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. He is a Zora and the bandleader/piano player of the Zora band, The Indigo-Gos. While the other Zora resemble fish, Evan distinctly resembles an eel. Along with Tijo, he is one of the first Zora to appear with distinct features from other marinelife in the Zora race. The melody he plays on the piano when entering his room is the 'game over' music from The Legend of Zelda.
[edit] Biography
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Despite being the Indigo-Gos' bandleader, Evan does not like listening to ideas from his fellow bandmembers, preferring to pitch all new ideas himself.
If Link plays the tune he plays with Japas in the Jam Session to Evan while in his Hylian form, Evan will be impressed and give Link a Piece of Heart. If he plays it again in any other form, Evan will say that he's heard the song before. Once done, Evan will claim the song was all on his own genius. If Link plays the song while in his Zora form, Evan will yell at him about writing songs with Japas behind his back.
Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here.
