Evan is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. He is a Zora, and the bandleader and piano player of the Zora band, The Indigo-Gos. Despite his role in the band, he does not like listening to ideas from his fellow bandmembers, preferring to pitch all new ideas himself. While the other Zoras resemble fish, Evan distinctly resembles a manatee.
If Link plays the tune he played with Japas in the Jam Session to Evan while in his normal form, Evan will be impressed and give Link a Piece of Heart. If he plays it again in any other form, Evan will say that he's heard the song before. Once done, Evan will claim the song was all on his own genius. If Link plays the song while in his Zora form, Evan will yell at him about writing songs with Japas behind his back.
The melody he plays on the piano is the 'game over' music from The Legend of Zelda.
