Dr. Left is a character from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. He is an absent-minded scholar living in Hyrule Town.

Biography Edit

At one point, Link has to retrieve books for the Royal Hyrule Library in order to meet with Hyrule Town's Minish Elder, Librari. Dr. Left has borrowed on of the books, Legend of the Picori, but he has apparently misplaced it and does not seem to care much. Eventually, Link locates the book in the rafters of Dr. Left's home and gets the book back by removing it from the rafters with the help of a Minish and the White Sword.

Etymology Edit

Due to his appearance, it is very likely Dr. Left was named after Dr. Wright, a character from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System version of SimCity. Additionally, Dr. Wright was already parodied by the Legend of Zelda character Mr. Write.
