Doomknockers are an enemies from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. They are powerful and heavily armored bruisers whose slightly hunched gait sets it apart from the similarly armored enemy Iron Knuckle. They are equipped with several boomerang-like maces that fly to and fro when thrown. Though they suffer from a sluggish movement speed and poor reaction time, Doomknockers can still leap to great heights, offering it a chance to collide with Link should he try to jump over it. There is no safe way to dispose of Doomknockers, though the Downthrust technique is quite effective as long as it remains on the ground. Link earns 100 experience points for defeating a Doomknocker.
