Didogger Digdogger is a boss from The Legend of Zelda. It is invulnerable to all of Link's attacks until Link plays the whistle, found in Digdogger's own Level 5 in the First Quest and in Level 2 of the Second Quest. Playing the whistle causes Digdogger to shrink, where it becomes vulnerable to the sword. It moves much faster, however, and damages Link by colliding with him. Digdogger has no projectile attacks, though it is frequently found in rooms with statues that shoot energy balls at Link.

Some Digdoggers split into three when the whistle is blown rather than just one. Link can, however, kill just one of the three and leave the room, and when he returns, Digdogger will be slain.
