Hyrule Compendium Entry
Demon Carvers are one-handed Weapons in Breath of the Wild. Yiga Footsoldiers begin to wield them when they ambush Link after Master Kohga has been defeated. They only way to obtain them is to defeat the Footsoldiers that carry them. They were forged by the Yiga Clan and designed to quickly defeat any of their opponents.[1] Demon Carvers belong to the Yiga Clan Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons made and used by the Yiga.[3]
As metallic Weapons, Demon Carvers will attract Lightning during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. They also are unable to burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate, will sink in Water, and can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune.
