The Dbl. (Double) Edged Ring is a Magical Ring from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. It can be obtained randomly in both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons from a Gasha Nut.

The Dbl. Edged Ring increases Link's sword power by three, but comes at the cost of one Heart Container per swing that does damage. This ring has very few efficient uses except for making the game more challenging.

Etymology Edit

It is possible that the Dbl. Edged Ring was named after the metaphor known as the "double-edged sword". The term may be used to describe any situation with both positive and negative repercussions, similar to the trade-off caused by using the Dbl. Edged Ring.
