In an attempt to follow in his deceased father's footsteps, David Jr. became an explorer. At the age of seventeen, however, he was caught in a ship wreck and washed up on shore, where he was found by Tingle. Tingle forced him to work in the Tingle Tower with his younger brother, Ankle. David Jr. wears a white duplicate of Tingle's green outfit. If Link uses the Tingle Tuner, and talks to him, David Jr. makes a comment about Tingle being kinder when Link contacts him.

David Jr., along with Tingle, Ankle and Knuckle appear. David Jr. is willing to perform a Kinstone Fusion with Link.
