Bombchu in Ocarina of Time are bombs that crawl along the ground and up walls. Link can find them in a number of places. Some for free, found in some of the treasure chests in dungeons. After finding 40 Gold Skulltula Tokens, Link can collect some from the 4th son at the House of Skulltula in Kakariko Village. Others are won from the Bombchu Bowling Game where it is also possible to win a Piece of Heart or an upgrade for your Bomb Bag.

In TFH, the Street Merchant appears in the town of Hytopia, selling Materials at a stall across from Madame Couture's. He opens up shop after the Links have completed the Woodlands area of the Drablands. The Materials he sells are typically very expensive, but his selection often includes rare Materials that are otherwise hard to come by. Some Materials, such as the Frilly Fabric, are exclusive to his shop. The Street Merchant will restock every day, in real-time. The Street Merchant remarks that Link seems familiar, implying that he may be the same Street Merchant from Hyrule.

  +
Aside from selling Materials, the Street Merchant can also buy Materials from Link. He will only buy Materials if Link speaks with him directly, by breaking the pot to the right side of him. If the Street Merchant sees the black ghost lurking around town, he will buy Link's Materials at twice the price.<ref>{{Cite|I swear I just saw that black ghost everyone's talkin' about... The Street Merchant also has a blue tent next to his stall. It is too dark to see inside, requiring that Link wear the Light Armor to take a look. Volume 7 of the Drablands Diary can be found inside the tent.

Bombchu in Majora's Mask are self-animated, named Real Bombchus. They are found in the dry, desert area of Termina near the entrance to Ikana Canyon and are also one of the major inhabitants of the region. Whenever Link passes by they immediately carry out their kamikaze style attack by blowing up near the player. They can be repelled by holding R to block them with the Hero's Shield or the Mirror Shield. Bombchus are also a type of weapon, bought from the Bomb Shop, that run up walls just like in OoT.

Tri Force Heroes

In Tri Force Heroes, the Street Merchant appears in the town of Hytopia, selling Materials at a stall across from Madame Couture's.
