The Compass of Light is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. This gear-shaped instrument was imbued with the power of the Spirits of Good by Byrne. It is found in the Tower of Spirits and, once found, is used to reveal a set of Spirit Tracks leading to the Dark Realm. Byrne states that Chancellor Cole had him build the compass in order to find the Demon Train in the Dark Realm. The Compass can only be found on Floor 24 in the Tower of Spirits after solving the most difficult traps and puzzles there. Due to the fact that Byrne made it using the power of the spirits, Malladus and Cole cannot touch it.
