- "I think... I finally understand what my dad meant... when he told me he wanted me to be strong like you, Link. He didn't mean strength as in lifting stuff. He meant strength as in courage."

[edit] Biography
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Colin was born to Rusl and Uli in Ordon Village. While not much is known about his childhood and upbringing, Colin befriended Link. However, the other children of the village would often tease him for his timid behavior.
He is first seen being teased by Malo and Talo, the two other boys residing in Ordon Village. When Link appears, however, they stop. Colin tells Link that he has made a Fishing Rod for him. However, shortly after Link has been able to try it out he and other children are kidnapped by King Bulblin and his raiders. Link goes on a quest to rescue Colin and the children, which eventually sends him on a much larger, nobler quest. Link manages to find Colin, Beth, Malo and Talo in Kakariko Village under the care of Renado. However, they are once again attacked by Bulblins. The leader of the Bulblins, King Bulblin, rides full speed towards Beth, intending to trample her with his steed, Lord Bullbo, but Colin shoves her out of the way and is once more captured by the Bulblins. Link rides after King Bulblin, and confronts him on the Bridge of Eldin. Here, he manages to defeat him in a joust.
Colin is freed, but is discovered to have been injured during the incident. Colin is made to stay in bed in the Elde Inn in Kakariko, where Beth and the shaman Renado's daughter, Luda, take care of him, much to the chagrin of Colin, as they refuse to leave him alone and make a large fuss over him. After his brave deed, he is never referred to as a coward by the other boys again and appears to have certainly impressed Beth. At the end of the adventure, Colin can be seen carrying an Ordon Sword and Wooden Shield.
