Add Impaz and Fanadi[]

Shouldn't we list Impaz and Fanadi as Sheikah? It may not be directly stated that they are Sheikah but it is clearly implied. Zeldafan1982 00:13, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

In a scenario like this, I think it's best to remain neutral rather than make what would seem to be insufficiently supported assumptions.
The issue of adding Madame Fanadi is that it's not so clear. To me, the only trait that Fanadi shares with the Sheikah is the Eye Symbol on her forehead. However, that does not directly link her to the Sheikah, as it appears to relate to other objects and people who are not confirmed to be related to the Sheikah.
Despite being based in Kakariko Village, the Lens of Truth in Ocarina of Time isn't confirmed to be a Sheikah artifact. In fact, the symbol it bears seems to just indicate a tie to the dark and paranormal. Many antagonists in the Zelda series bear the symbol on their clothing, but it's quite possible that none of them are remotely related to the Sheikah. Specifically, the shields near Ganondorf's room in the Forsaken Fortress bear an iteration of the symbol, despite the fact that he is of Gerudo descent.
Because of this, I don't believe that displaying the Eye Symbol is an indication of any sort of relation to the Sheikah.
As for Impaz, I believe it's a more acceptable manner to assume that she is of Sheikah descent. She lives in "Old Kakariko" and mentions that her name comes from the one who founded the village. The village was established by the Sheikah, so it's clearly a reference to Impa, despite her having only (officially) "opened" the village to the Hylian people. However, it is never confirmed whether Impaz is a Sheikah or not, so the best that we have is a strong assumption.
But personally, I don't think we should add it to either page because it's not confirmed. Unless it's unquestionably canon, there's always the risk of being inaccurate. - TonyT S C 14:33, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
Regarding the eye as a symbol, I also think that it is a common symbol associated with magic. The thing is that the Sheikah eye is more specific due to the teardrop. It's been some years since I last played TWW so I didn't recall the shields you mentioned. Since the place was a pirate stronghold I think it is possible that the shields belonged to Sheikah at some point and were stolen.
In regards to Impaz (here is a retranslation of what she says), her name (not necessarily derived from OoT Impa) in conjunction with the fact that she belongs to a clan that served the Royal family indicate that she is a Sheikah as well. I understand that we should be careful and not state theories as facts but in this case I think it is safe to assume that they are Sheikah. Zeldafan1982 18:44, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
