Brocco is a character from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. He is a vendor who sells vegetables in the central area of Hyrule Town. He buys the best of Eenie & Meenie's crops and has many feuds with Pina, the fruit vendor, about which is healthier: fruits or vegetables.

Biography Edit

During the Picori Festival, Brocco is peddling his wares in a stand located next to Pina, his competitor. After the Picori Festival, he can be found in Hyrule Town until he disappears after Link has retrieved the Wind Element from the Palace of Winds. At various times throughout the game before he disappears, Link can fuse Kinstones with Brocco, provided that he has the appropriate piece.

Etymology Edit

It is very likely that Brocco's name originates from the vegetable broccoli. This idea is further supported by the fact that Brocco's appearance slightly resembles a piece of broccoli, in a similar fashion to how Pina's appearance slightly resembles a pineapple.
