Bots are enemies from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. They are gelatinous blue or purple masses that can be found throughout Hyrule. They are very similar to their cousins, the Bits; however, Bots are blue, whereas Bits are red, and Bots have the distinct advantage of jumping.

There are several minute variations of Bots. Aside from the standard ones found outdoors and in caves, there are Bots that reside in palaces. These Bots have slightly greater defense and slightly more attacking power than outdoor Bots. There is a second type as well; in some dungeons, there are blood-dripping pillars. Shining blue drops of liquid sometimes fall from these and transform into Bots. These Bots cannot edge, and can only jump towards Link.

Bots can also be found in the Great Palace. These Bots are much more powerful than others however. The Great Palace also has Giant Bots.
