The Blue Candle is an item from The Legend of Zelda. The light of this candle can be used to burn away bushes in the Overworld in order to reveal hidden passages, and to provide a light in dark rooms of dungeons. However, the light of the candle will expire after a given time; additionally, the candle can only be used once in a given room. In order to use it again, Link must leave the room and come back. The candle's flame can also damage Link himself if he is not careful.
It can be purchased from many of the merchants found in Hyrule. In Level 7, Link can obtain the Red Candle, which will replace the Blue Candle in his inventory.
