Big Bang is a mini-game from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. In order to play it, Link must first bring the proprietor, a tired Goron, a bottle of Goronade. The Goron then lets Link play the first game for free. The object of the game is to run around, avoiding falling bombs, which gradually increase in number and in speed as the game progresses. To add to the difficulty, the entire floor is covered in quicksand and five large boulders. Pegasus Seeds, the Roc's Feather, and the Quicksand Ring are very useful for this game, although they are not entirely necessary. If Link is hit once by a exploding bomb, the game ends. The first time Link successfully wins, he is rewarded with the Old Mermaid Key.
The Big Bang is likely named after the theorized real-life event, the Big Bang.
