Beta Gohma is a boss that was planned to be in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Appearing only in the beta release of the game, Beta Gohma was later replaced by Armogohma. Differences from the final form include the eye being on the front of the face (similar to that of Queen Gohma), a more tarantula-like form, a lack of armor, and larger fangs. It also fights Link in a different area, possibly a canyon at night or more likely within a cave. Beta Gohma's only appearance is in the trailer. It does, however, bear a striking resemblance to the Rocktites from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks which are battled the same way that Gohma would have been, so it may be possible that this beta enemy was recycled in that game.
