Bana Bana is the boss of the Deku Temple, the third dungeon in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. A giant, carnivorous plant, Bana Bana has infested the Great Deku Tree and guards the Pure Dew that Tingle needs to collect to save the Deku Tree Sprout. Bana Bana eats anything, and Tingle can outsmart the plant by feeding its own seedlings to it. When he does this enough, the creature perishes, allowing Tingle to obtain the Pure Dew. With the Pure Dew in hand, Tingle successfully saves the Deku Tree Sprout.
