[edit] Battle
Aquamentus attacks by spitting three beams at a time towards Link. These beams can be blocked with the Magical Shield. Aquamentus' weak point is its head, which can be damaged with a sword strike. It can also be damaged when it comes in contact with a Sword Beam.

Non-canon warning: This article or section contains non-canonical information that is not considered to be an official part of the Legend of Zelda series and should not be considered part of the overall storyline.
[edit] The Legend of Zelda animated series
Aquamentus only appears once in the animated series, in the episode "Underworld Connections". The Triforce of Wisdom has been split into three pieces, and an Aquamentus ends up with one of them. It was depicted as being aquatic.
[edit] The Legend of Neil
Neil encounters Aquamentus in the Eastmost Penninsula of Level 1. When the dragon starts attacking, Neil hides behind a pillar in the corner of the room. When he does this, Aquamentus starts speaking and tells Neil that it is "not fair" that he is hiding in the only place in the room that he cannot reach. At this point, the two start talking about their girl problems and become friends. Knowing that Neil can only leave the room if he dies, Aquamentus allows the hero to cut off his horn so he can beat Level 1. Aquamentus is portrayed by Sandeep Parikh, co-writer and creator of the series.
[edit] Zelda Game Watch
Aquamentus appears as the boss of every dungeon. To defeat him, Link must collect a bomb and place it in front of Aquamentus. If he succeeds a Triforce fragment appears, which allows access to the next dungeon.
