The Ancient Ruins is the sixth dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. This dungeon is located inside a tower at the western peak of the mountain that serves as the location of Tarm Ruins, on the square on the upper-left-hand corner of the map of Holodrum. Before entering the dungeon, Link is visited by Koume and Kotake in disguise, who warn him not to save Din.

Location Edit

The Ancient Ruins are located in the Tarm Ruins, where Link also goes to recover the Noble Sword (or Master Sword if he had already collected the Noble Sword in a Linked Game).

Dungeon Edit

The Ancient Ruins contains many traps, including false Rupees, booby traps, and even a hallway with walls that close in on intruders, automatically killing Link if he doesn't escape in time. The dungeon contains one hidden room containing over a hundred Rupees. This is the only location in which Yellow Rupees can be found. It is the tallest dungeon in the game, spanning five stories. There are many cracked floors, which cause Link to fall to his doom if he stands on them for too long. Unlike the other dungeons, the essence is located in an area not on the map: The roof.
